Must have – Familiarity with RESTful api development
Must have – good engineering practices
Familiar with best practices around git, unit testing, integration testing and deployments
Preferred - good in AWS - we are primarily working with AWS Lambda functions (serverless)
Preferred - familiar with UI technologies - specifically angular, bootstrap
Optional - familiarity with data science
We don't actually do the analytics of the data, but our platform is supporting the • process of ingesting data into the data lake, and making that available to our analytics team
Proven software development experience and Android skills development
Have published at least one original Android app
Job Responsibilities
Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications and delivering high- availability and performance
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Write unit-tests and make sure the code is automation-friendly
Collaborating with the QA team to ensure everything works as it should
